Outlook Config Tool

The outlook configuration tool is a helpful piece of software that will configure the outlook profile required to communicate with our cloud based exchange 2007 servers.

If you are comfortable in configuring outlook yourself you may read this document for settings required.

This tool is highly recommended. It saves time and reduces the errors that can be made by 90%.

Here are the steps.

1. Make sure that outlook is currently closed.

2. Download the tool from the downloads section of the site.

3. Double click the Outlook.Config.exe. The icon is show below.

4. Enter the name for the profile and your hosted email address as shown below.

5. Once details have been entered. Press Ok. If everything is ok you will receive a confirmation box as below.

6. Load outlook and when prompted. Enter your details as below. Note: your username is your full email address. I.E testuser@mydomain.com.

Loggin into the server

7. If this is your only mail account then you are done. You may have to enter your password in again to login. Your mail account will then load and setup is complete.

From then on you will only be asked once for the password when opening outlook if its your only profile or when selecting the hosted exchange profile.

If you have another profiles on your computer with different accounts you will be asked which one to use. The image below shows this.
